Muscadet de Dieppe Apple Trees

  • Bittersweet
  • “Vintage” Cider
  • Hardy to Zone 4

Muscadet de Dieppe is a French cider apple originally from Normandy, around the port of Dieppe, 1750.

Excellent single varietal or blended cider apple. Orange-red, smallish fruit. Sweet and aromatic. Produces a bittersweet cider, high tannin and low acidity. Useful in blending as it is one of the few early ripening bittersweets.

Good resistance to fireblight and scab. Hardy to zone 4. Ripens in September.
